A bizarre online battle is taking place on Twitter between Ask the Doctor and Shiba Inu promoter Shytoshi Kusama, with both threatening each other with legal action and doxxing, with the Canadian platform threatening to expose the true identity of the Shiba Inu promoter.

Meanwhile, SHIB is up by over 11% in the past 24 hours amidst all this drama.

Legal Action And Doxxing Threats

Ask The Doctor, a prominent SHIB whale and former promoter, dramatically turned against the project, training its guns on project lead Shytoshi Kusama. Ask The Doctor did a complete volte-face and dubbed the cryptocurrency the “biggest scam in crypto.”

After calling Shiba Inu a scam, Ask The Doctor also stated that the project was preparing the groundwork for a rug pull event, although none of these claims were backed by any hard evidence. Ask The Doctor’s Twitter account even threatened legal action, stating that a lawsuit will be filed for libel while also threatening to expose the real identity of Shytoshi Kusama.

Ask the Doctor stated in a Tweet,

“We will begin our initial lawsuit filing against @Shibtoken and @ShytoshiKusama in the UK tomorrow. It’s our obligation to protect the crypto community from these potential scammers. We will get their identities.”

Shytoshi’s Counter Threat

Not one to be cowed down, Shytoshi Kusama launched his own scathing counter after the doxxing threat by Ask The Doctor and responded with a veiled legal threat of their own, stating,

“Tell your legal team that it is illegal to buy a verified account to use it to scam other people. Tell them it is illegal to take people’s money for a service you never provide. And if you REALLY want to come and get me…COME GET ME. It’s almost time anyway… I’m ready.”

The Vanishing Tweetstorm

After the Twitter drama unfolded on Tuesday, further developments in the feud remained sketchy, and it is looking unlikely that there will be any action forthcoming after the Twitter grandstanding. After the SHIB army jumped into Shytoshi Kusama’s defense, and after losing over 10,000 followers, Ask The Doctor deleted all the Tweets directed at Shytoshi and Shiba Inu.

Ask The Doctor’s u-turn has surprised many, especially after the platform had added around $1.5 million worth of SHIB tokens in early December. The platform had also begun to share Shiba-Inu-related merchandise.

A Scam Account

Shytoshi called the Ask The Doctor account a scam account in one tweet, while Billy Markus, the Dogecoin co-founder, said that the account was earlier asking people to sell their DOGE for SHIB. Several individuals on Twitter have cast doubt about the legitimacy of the I-clinic, with Shytoshi also questioning the authenticity of its verified account, suggesting that the account must have purchased the verification from a third party.
