Shiba Inu has been working tirelessly to transcend the meme tag to be recognized as a more technically efficient project with real-world use cases. Months ago, the Shibarium testnet was launched and is doing extremely well.
The next in line is the Shibarium mainnet launch, SHIB the metaverse, and the introduction of Rocket Pond. Rocket Pond exists as one of the 11 SHIB metaverse hubs, and its launch could lead to a massive transformation of the ecosystem.
Rocket Pond brings the feel of a hidden resort inside of mountains, The YMCA or KOA camping vibe with the wilderness around you mixed with modern luxuries/touristy elements. Crystal clear waters with wildlife mixed with resort buildings that lead up to the mountains.
According to a recent update by Marcie Jastrow, a Shiba Metaverse advisor, it is just a matter of time before Rocket Pond is presented. This news comes as a surprise and the SHIB army has expressed their excitement about this update. The release of the video presentation would provide an idea of the kind of metaverse the team is building.
On September 13, 2022, and on the 15th, a black and white sketch of the hub was shared. The color design released was to show what the metaverse would look like. One interesting revelation is that the design was inspired by scenic locations including “Cape Canaveral, Monument to the Conquerors of Space, Lake Tahoe, Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, and Heavenly Village.”

In April, the team assured that the project would be partially released to users by the end of the year.
While all development takes time, the MV team is confident that by the end of 2023, users will have the opportunity to explore some of the areas in this fantastic world, build, design, play and develop within it. However, it should be noted that not all areas of the metaverse will be fully completed as it is an ongoing project.
Shibarium is another groundbreaking project largely expected by the community to be launched. It was recently reported that the date for the release would depend on how the testing goes with the beta version. Interestingly, everything is said to be on course as there are continuous upgrades and advancements. Shiba Inu has since April lost two zeros as its projects continue to gain popularity with an increasing user base.
LucieSHIB, a prominent promoter of Shiba Inu, earlier stated that the mainnet launch could be triggered between Q2 and Q3. However, she later hinted that there could be a delay. Regardless, the Shibarium testnet has so far recorded 20 million transactions with daily transactions of 491,994. As of the time of writing, its wallet addresses had reached 16,726,149. Its total block was around 1,239,453 with an average block time of 5 seconds.

Shiba Inu has been struggling for the past week as its price falls by 23.01 percent to trade at $0.000007. However, the release of these much-anticipated projects could kill more zeros to hit $0.001 in the long term.
