Not just toys, books, and games—now Pudgy Penguins are also speeding on the racetrack. This NFT collection, which was initially only known in Web3 circles, has announced a partnership with NASCAR, one of the biggest names in the world of car racing.
Through a short video on the X platform, a penguin wearing his signature hat is seen preparing in a racing garage, complete with a typical pit stop atmosphere. Many are immediately curious, is this just a funny campaign or will it really become a real-world cross-activation?

Beyond Hype: Pudgy Penguins Keep Building in the Real World
Looking at their recent track record, it seems like it’s not just about seeking attention. Pudgy Penguins have recently been getting more serious about expanding their influence outside the NFT world. Previously, they had released physical toys at Walmart and Target, as well as a Telegram game called Pengu Clash which is scheduled for a full release on June 18, 2025.
This game even has more than two million registrants, long before the launch. So when they partnered with NASCAR, it didn’t feel like a whim, but part of a long-term plan.
Linking Digital Fun With Real-Life Benefits for All Ages
On the other hand, the Pudgy ecosystem is also increasingly “connected” to the real world. CNF recently reported that users can now collect miles from Lufthansa—Europe’s largest airline—every time they shop at the Pudgy Shop, either with fiat money or PENGU tokens.
So now, buying a cute hoodie with a penguin picture can give you points for a vacation to Europe. This is part of their efforts to connect digital assets with real-life benefits.
Furthermore, this collaboration with NASCAR came along with the integration of Pudgy Penguins characters in the Web3 game My Neighbor Alice. In an update titled Chapter One: A New Adventure, players can use NFT Pudgy, Lil Pudgys, and Pudgy Rods as 3D characters in a virtual world called “Pudgy Land.”
There, characters can garden, make crafts, and sell goods in a digital market. So from car racing to gardening, these penguins really can’t stay still.
However, their expansion doesn’t stop at entertainment. On May 20, 2025, Pudgy Penguins also collaborated with Random House Children’s Books to publish a children’s storybook titled “Worst Birthday Gift Ever.” This book is their entry into the world of children’s literacy, with the aim of educating the younger generation through fun characters but still carrying positive messages.
Meanwhile, as of press time, PENGU is trading at about $0.009744, up 4.19% over the last 24 hours, with daily trading volume at about $113 million.
