OKX Ventures invests in Momentum, a decentralized exchange on the Sui blockchain, aiming to enhance DeFi through innovative liquidity solutions and high-performance trading.
OKX Ventures, the investment arm of the globally recognized crypto exchange OKX, has announced a strategic investment in Momentum, a leading decentralized exchange (DEX) operating on the Sui blockchain. This move is part of OKX Ventures’ broader strategy to support promising blockchain infrastructure projects, according to OKX Ventures.
Momentum’s Innovative Approach
Momentum has carved out a significant niche in the DeFi landscape with its deep liquidity pools and high-performance trading infrastructure. The platform employs a ve(3,3) model, a sophisticated game theory-based approach that enhances value distribution and aligns incentives for liquidity providers and traders. This model has helped Momentum achieve $3 billion in swap volume and $72 million in total value locked (TVL), attracting over 420,000 users in just two months. It currently handles over 25% of all DEX volume on the Sui network, boasting trading performance ten times better than traditional AMMs.
