NVIDIA has unveiled its Omniverse Blueprints, a groundbreaking tool designed to streamline the development of real-time physics digital twins, according to NVIDIA. These blueprints are set to revolutionize the field of computer-aided engineering (CAE) by enabling engineers to instantly observe and modify designs, thereby expediting the innovation process across various industries such as aerospace, automotive, and electronics.
Challenges in Developing Digital Twins
Real-time digital twins (RTDTs) present significant engineering challenges, primarily due to the need for integrating diverse software tools into a cohesive workflow. These tools include advanced physics solvers, design applications, and visualization modules, all of which must operate with minimal latency to achieve real-time performance.
