Next Earth, a new metaverse platform, is looking to provide a better future for its users and the world. With a focus on environmental charity, the platform looks to use its blockchain-based infrastructure to create a better world.
A Community Focus
According to Gabor Retfalvi, founder of Next Earth, the platform is different from other metaverses because it focuses on the community.
“We truly believe that we can help the world become a better place, with the democratization of the Metaverse; with true digital ownership by the community, by delivering an economy where users can monetize themselves, create not just wealth and value, but also the community driven content of the Metaverse itself, and get appreciated for it.”
Retfalvi also believes that the platform can help decentralize the metaverse and make it more user-driven.
“With the use of the Surface of Earth, we would like to create a known and friendly easy to use platform, where users can show how this new level technology and narrative can create a better and healthier ecosystem than the actual one that we live in.”
While many metaverses are entirely separate from our physical world, Next Earth aims to merge the two, using the power of environmental charity to help improve our planet.

A Focus on Environmental Charity
Next Earth has a strong focus on environmental charity, with the goal of aiding our planet and showing the way for future generations.
As Retfalvi notes:
“The endgame of Next Earth is a fully DAO controlled state of the art self sustaining platform, that will head into becoming a non profit organization by time, with allocating all of its income outside of the platform operations to environmental charity. Actually the endgame of the Metaverse is a little more than that. The real endgame is to make everybody choose this type of direction/narrative and goal at their endgame, thus creating a truly forward pointing futuristic solution that has real effect on our society.”
After all, what good is a metaverse platform if it doesn’t give back to the world?
On Next Earth, 10% of all transactions are donated to environmental charities, which means that over $800,000 has already been given away to initiatives like The Ocean Cleanup, Amazon Watch, and others fighting climate change and protecting our environment.

Standing Out Amidst the Competition
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that the metaverse space is heating up with intense competition. But Next Earth is looking to set itself apart from the rest with its focus on environmental charity and community involvement.
Retfalvi is confident in the platform’s ability to compete:
“The foundation of this reason lies in the sales, marketing and UX. We come from different segments of the economy, but we were always focusing heavily on the customers and fulfilling their needs. I think that is the key to long term success.”
Next Earth’s dedication to its users and focus on creating a better future is giving it a shot at becoming a strong player in the metaverse space.
Next Earth in 10-15 Years
The current days of the metaverse are much like the early days of the Internet: Exciting, full of potential, and with room for a lot of growth. In 10-15 years, we can expect to see a very different metaverse.
According to Gabor Retfalvi, the metaverse will look very different in the future.
“We imagine a full scale high quality AR/VR compatible interconnected, interoperable platform, where interaction is on a level like never before. I also like to believe that the Metaverse will deliver a better future with decentralization, user driven content creation and the total democratization.”
Next Earth is looking to be at the forefront of this future metaverse, using its focus on community and environmental charity to set itself apart from the competition.
The Vision: Impact
When asked about his vision for Next Earth, Retfalvi had this to say:
“Our mission is to make the maximum of this opportunity and have the best and greatest effect possible on the Metaverse and through it on our life and our planet.”
Retfalvi doesn’t see the metaverse and the physical world as distinct concepts. They’re just two planes that are coming together, and it’s up to us to use that power for good. Therefore, if we want a utopian future for the metaverse, it’s crucial to start early and make a positive impact on the world.
This philosophy is at the heart of Next Earth. We can’t rely on simply building a better game world; we need to use that world to make the real world better. We need to think about how our actions in the metaverse will affect people in the physical world.
