Gala Games launches early access for Superior, a roguelite game where players need Prime Character NFTs to join the battle against rogue superheroes.
Gala Games has announced the early access launch of its latest roguelite game, Superior. According to Gala News, players will need to own Prime Character NFTs to participate in this high-octane battle against rogue superheroes.
Save The World
In Superior, players are tasked with stopping a band of rogue superheroes who have wreaked havoc on the world. Utilizing advanced teleportal technology, players can travel back in time to thwart these villains at crucial stages of their takeover. Guided by a rebel bartender robot, players will engage in missions to eliminate these corrupted heroes and collect their ‘Juice’ to gain new powers.
Killing Baddies & Collecting Powers
The game features a fast-paced environment where players will battle hundreds of enemies, each more challenging than the last, as they progress toward the mission’s boss. As players advance, they collect power-ups enhancing movement, firepower, and abilities. Players can choose from a variety of deadly weapons or use melee attacks for a more intimate combat experience. Experience points earned from missions allow players to upgrade and customize their Skill tree, and upon reaching the maximum level, they can upgrade their Infamy level, unlocking higher skill ceilings.
Play with NFT Prime Characters
Early access to Superior is exclusively available to those who own Prime Character NFTs. Currently, three Prime characters are available: Ronin, Nomad, and Murmur. These NFTs can be purchased from the Gala Games store or the OpenSea secondary market. Prime Character NFTs must be held in the player’s connected Ethereum wallet to appear in the game. If purchased on GalaChain, they must be bridged to Ethereum to be used in the game.
Each Prime character comes in different rarities, impacting the player’s starting Infamy level. Higher rarity characters provide a boosted Infamy, reducing the grind needed to gain experience and unlocking advanced Skill Tree options more quickly.
The Infamous Primes
Players begin the game with boosted Infamy based on their Prime’s rarity, allowing them to access more of the Skill Tree and prepare for more challenging runs. Each new Infamy level increases the character’s max Skill Points, enabling more effective gameplay and strategic advantages.
For those who already own a Prime Character, the game is available for download and play on the Gala Games platform.
