Djed, Cardano’s recently launched over-collateralized stablecoin was listed on Bitrue not long after its launch. Very recently, Bitrue, the Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange is now offering an attractive reward, exclusive to market players interested in staking the Djed stablecoin.
Stakers are in luck this month, as the Bitrue exchange took to Twitter to make a mouthwatering announcement. Starting at 13:00 UTC, on the 7th of February, staking Djed and its reserve coin SHEN will earn stakers a whopping 50% in annual percentage yield (APY) in just 15 days.
The percentage yield is one of the most attractive for Djed stakes on the market right now. It even goes on to topple the annual percentage yield for Bitrue Coin (BTR), the platform’s native token which is less than 9% for the same time period offered to Djed Stakers.
Stakers have nothing to worry about when staking on the Bitrue exchange. Per the Twitter announcement from Bitrue, the process is extremely simple, totally flexible, and very safe.
Bitrue was one of the first few exchanges to list Djed after it went live. The listing will help Djed to reach a wider audience.
“The listing of DJED and SHEN on Bitrue will increase Djed’s accessibility to users across the entire crypto world, it will also foster the mainstream adoption of DJED and its reserve coin, SHEN.” COTI said in a previous blogpost.
What does the future of the Djed stablecoin look like?
Djed was launched on the 2nd of February. After its launch, COTI, the decentralized payment transaction network, revealed that Djed has hit many milestones in less than a week of going live.
A liquidity of nearly 20 million ADA was provided on the platform. At the time of the report, 1.85 million Djes had been minted and 40K has already been burnt. 21 million SHEN were minted, and 73K were also burnt. The numbers have certainly increased for both assets since then.

Bitrue is not the only platform that is hosting Djed. DEX’s like Minswap, Wingriders and MuesliSwap also listed Djed two days after its launch.
All the metrics are collectively bullish and point to a promising future for Djed. The market might see more listings on other exchanges as Djed continues to grow. This will take adoption even further than it already is.
