The latest BNB Chain ecosystem report, covering the period from November 20 to 26, showcases significant metrics and developments within the blockchain network. According to BNB Chain, this week has been packed with activities spanning DeFi, AI, Payments, and DeSoc sectors, underscoring the platform’s dynamic growth.
Key Metrics and Performance
During this period, BNB Smart Chain (BSC) recorded an impressive 2,499,709 average daily active users, while opBNB followed closely with 1,992,874 users. The total transactions on BSC reached 105,651,906, and opBNB saw 26,009,933 transactions. The total trading volume for the week was a substantial $66.4 billion, with the total value locked (TVL) standing at $11.12 billion as of November 26.
Strategic Updates and Initiatives
In a significant move, the BNB Chain Multi-Sig Wallet is set to be phased out, with users advised to migrate to Safe Global to ensure asset security. Additionally, BNB Chain is gearing up for the BNB Hack Abu Dhabi event scheduled for December 5-6, in collaboration with YZi Labs. This initiative aims to provide developers with mentorship, ecosystem exposure, and funding opportunities.
The network also announced the appointment of Nina Rong as the Executive Director of Growth. Her role will focus on expanding developer programs, ecosystem partnerships, and enhancing BNB Chain’s international presence.
Community Engagement and Growth
The 0 Fee Carnival for USD1 and USDC transfers has been extended until December 31, allowing users to move stablecoins without incurring gas fees. Supported wallets for these transfers include Trust Wallet, SafePal, and Binance Web3 Wallet.
Moreover, the Featured Activities Series on DappBay, running until December 3, offers participants the chance to win rewards exceeding $190,000. This initiative features projects like World of Dypians, Maiga, and Coreon.
Technical Enhancements and Future Plans
BNB Chain continues to improve its infrastructure, with BSC now offering near-real-time block processing and enhanced performance under heavy loads. Node operators are advised to migrate from Erigon to Reth or Geth by December 31 to ensure seamless operations.
In a bid to foster community interaction, BNB Chain has launched a new social campaign titled ‘Build Mode,’ encouraging participants to share their insights and win a share of 1 BNB.
