Gone are the days when crypto conferences struggled to record a few hundred attendees. Today, the popularity of crypto and its ability to command interest have had considerable effects in the recently organized conferences. This week, the largest crypto conference in history entitled “Bitcoin 2021” will be held in Miami. According to a report, about 50,000 people are expected to be present.
Bitcoin 2021 is a three-day conference running from 3rd to 5th June, taking place at the Mana Convention Center in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood. This time around, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez will be present. Suarez is an adherent follower of crypto and has promised to make Miami a crypto hub.

Also, The CEO of Twitter and founder of Square Jack Dorsey will be present. Some of the expected personalities also include former congressman Ron Paul, Senator Cynthia Lummis, Nick Szabo, and MicroStrategy’s Michael Saylor among others.

The “whale pass” auction
A special seat would be reserved for the highest bidder of the “Whale Pass” which is being auctioned. The bid starts from three Bitcoins according to reports. As part of the benefits, the whale pass winner would also be awarded a celebrity-suite ticket to the upcoming boxing match between professional boxer Mayweather and popular Youtuber Logan Paul. The winner would also have a meet and greet with Skateboarder Tony Hawk, and access to VIP concierge services.
June 3rd is recognized as the Whale Day of the Bitcoin conference. June 4th and June 5th will be the main conference days.

The crypto conference was initially scheduled to run from 30 April to 3 May 2021 in Los Angeles. However, California’s Covid-19 policies forced organizers to change the venue. The date was also rescheduled because of the second wave of the Covid-19 and the vaccine roll-out plans.
