Shiba Inu has in a bid to become more technically efficient, sought to implement several projects to transcend the meme tag associated with the asset. In 2022, the SHIB team initiated the Eternity game and the SHIB metaverse projects. On top of this, the team has launched the Shibarium testnet as the community awaits the project to be launched in the mainnet. This was supposed to be some months ago but was delayed due to some other challenges.
Recently, the team has unveiled details on the “Summer of Shibarium”. In addition to the several developments leading to the Shibarium mainnet launch, the team is revamping the Shibarium website (Shib.io). Its testnet is also well accepted by the ecosystem as it has surpassed 30 million transactions. Also, there are currently over 17 million wallet addresses with an average block time of 5 seconds.
One other important update to the Shib community is that Shiba Inu would be the title sponsor for the “The Blockchain Futurist Conference” this August. This was disclosed by the Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama. As part of the activities, there would be a multi-month Hack-a-thon by Shibarium.

According to the report, SHIB would have two booths, a VIP Cabana, and a keynote. These would be used to showcase Shibarium and Shib-themed suite of products, platforms, and services. The products include “Shib the Metaverse, Shibacals, Shiba Eternity, Shiboshis, and our partners at Unification, BadIdea.Ai.”
He also mentioned that some partners would be unveiled in the summer of Shibarium.
Moreover, we will display all projects that communicated a desire to build with Shibarium Tech at the conference. Another first, I am also slated to speak virtually at the conference, (via ai)!
