TriliTech, a research and development and entrepreneurship hub based in London, has announced that it is launching a new development hub in the city to help accelerate development of Tezos-based solutions.
The center will feature a multi-purpose Tezos-centric development hub that will help Tezos developers connect and network through technology consulting and development support. The hub will also serve as a primary platform for mentorship programs for future Tezos developers. The team behind TriliTech consists of high-profile experts on sectors such as decentralization, gaming, financial technology, and development.
“World class adoption and development teams are fundamental to world-changing software networks. TriliTech aims to be a centre of excellence in the Tezos ecosystem focusing on exciting and unique research and development at the protocol level and global adoption for the Tezos network, pushing the boundaries of blockchain use-cases.” shares TriliTech COO Robin Maxe.
According to TriliTech, Tezos’ Proof-of-Stake (PoS) layer-one blockchain is unique as compared to other layer-one blockchain protocols, because it is continuously evolving and innovating through its on-chain governance. The TriliTech team has been working with a host of partners and developers in the Tezos ecosystem to create and upgrade new features for the network.
Tezos has recently upgraded to its 7th version codenamed Granada, which went live sometime in August, bringing about a new type of consensus called Emmy, which halves the protocol’s block time. The Granada upgrade also introduced optimizations on gas consumption for smart contracts, liquidity baking, new governance mechanisms, as well as additional incentives for the provision of public goods.
Tezos has also expanded its network of partnerships with several strategic brands and firms such as Red Bull Racing Honda, McLaren Racing, OneOf, Societe Generale FORGE, Interpop, Hic-Et-Nunc, and most recently, Art Basel, a distinguished art gallery with which Tezos will host an exhibit of curated NFT art. The event is scheduled later this year for November 30 to December 4, and will be held at Miami Beach.
Tezos has also been chosen by Arab Bank Switzerland for integration to its staking, trading, and custody services, enabling the provision of access to digital assets for institutions, corporations, and high net-worth individuals.
