The first ever blockchain-based mobile game Spells of Genesis is making a very bold move in the Metaverse. The popular game is bringing its Askian Door social hub to the popular blockchain-based gaming platform The Sandbox.
This will allow players in Spells of Genesis to come face-to-face with some of their favorite in-game characters thereby creating a unique and enticing experience. As the Askian Door social hub is accessible through The Sandbox, it will create unique Metaverse experiences thereby unlocking a new wave of interactions between visitors and otherwise static characters. EverdreamSoft, creators of the Spells of Genesis (SoG), said:
Some of the most iconic in-game characters are brought to life and can be interacted with. In addition, users can collect hidden Satoshi Blocks spread across the SoG metaverse and explore spots of interest, all of which have strong ties to the game.
EverdreamSoft is currently maintaining an estate of 6×6 land plots in The Sandbox. The Askian Door social hub from Spells of Genesis resides on one of the land plots. EverdreamSoft said that they will bring more experiences across the estate in the coming months and years.
SoG’s NFT collection to come to The Sandbox marketplace
As per the press release shared with Crypto News Flash, the Spells of Genesis NFT collection will return to The Sandbox marketplace thereby enabling an even more interactive user experience. Besides, SoG will be adding 10 new NFTs to its collection.
EverdreamSoft notes that users who participated in previous or new drops through the purchase of NFTs also get a chance to win a The SandBox Season 3 Alpha Pass. The announcement notes:
These passes are a feature designed by The Sandbox and unlock rewards up to 500 $SAND for the holders who accomplish quests within the Alpha Season 3.
EverdreamSoft also mentioned that it will distribute three such passes through its official Twitter account. However, they shall be unveiling more information regarding the same in the coming weeks.
The Sandbox Alpha Season 3 runs for 10 weeks offering over 90 different experiences. There are a total of 10,000 Alpha passes with up to 500 $SAND and other guaranteed rewards.
Additionally, the Spells of Genesis team said that all those individuals owning an NFT from the SoG collection on The Sandbox Marketplace shall get exclusive access to future SoG experiences within The Sandbox. The SoG team looks quite inclined to bring long-term utilities to NFTs to ensure greater benefits to community members.
Earlier in February 2022, The Sandbox community members got the opportunity to buy digital real estate land around the EverdreamSoft Estate. Participants who owned a land received 3 premium NFTs including the Spells of Genesis’ iconic Bearwhale.
