- Shopping.io has announced a partnership with VeChain to allow VET holders to buy items at Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and Etsy.
- Purchases with VET for two weeks beginning from 7th July attract a 2 percent discount on all items.
VeChain Foundation and e-commerce platform Shopping.io have partnered to enable VET holders to use their tokens to purchase items on the platform. According to an announcement by Shopping.io, the new partnership kick-started payments with VET on the e-commerce platform from the 9th of July.
VeChain and Shopping.io announce partnership
As stated in the announcement, VET holders can buy everyday items, electronics, and novelty pieces at popular e-commerce websites like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Etsy, through Shopping.io.
In addition, holders of VET who use the token to make purchases over two weeks beginning from the 9th of July will receive a 2 percent discount on all items. According to Shopping.io, the partnership with VeChain is one of the company’s moves to collaborate with top cryptocurrencies. In addition, the e-commerce platform intends to partner with more projects that will support its vision of a mainstream crypto future.
At the time of writing, VET is trading at $0.07643. The token has shed 0.0008433 to 1.09 percent in its trading price over the last 24 hours. In addition to the losses, VET has plunged 11.1 percent in the last 7 days and further declined 33.1 percent in the last 30 days.
