Recent chats leaked from “Shibarium Tech,” the official Shibarium telegram group chat, revealed that Shytoshi Kusama and the team of developers at Shiba Inu are building something major. Shytoshi Kusama, the lead Shiba Inu developer, made a notable comment that has since sparked numerous speculations within the Shiba Inu community.

The speculations tie back to the fact that the Shiba Inu lead developer has been absent for a while. Kusama who is typically vocal in the group chat went silent for a few days. Members of the groups expressed concerns over his absence, as the collective continued to ask questions about his whereabouts.
“Where are you Boss? Turn back village” one user wrote. In response, Shytoshi Kusama said,

Kusama’s comments have been received by some community members as a hint that a potential upgrade to an existing protocol, or a new project is being built on the Shiba Inu network.
In previous times, Kusama has used cryptic tweets and comments to hint that a major announcement is on the way. This was observed by community members prior to the launch of the beta version of Shibarium. On different occasions, Shiba Inu supporters saw Kusama change his Twitter bio to hint at the launch of the Shibarium beta.
