The longer the sideways price action goes on, the more explosive the eventual move can be. Both $INJ and $KAS have been moving sideways in ranges since before the new year. Are both ready to explode to the upside?
$INJ and $KAS are two of the leading altcoins. $INJ has a market cap of $3.3 billion, and $KAS is not far behind with nearly $3.2 billion in market cap. These two have been traversing sideways in a range since late 2023. The longer this accumulation period lasts, the more explosive can be the upside move, when, and if it comes.
Explosive price move for $INJ?
Source: Coingecko/Trading View
As can be seen in the daily chart above, $INJ is inside a rising channel, and the price is also inside a large range from $30 at the bottom level, to $45 at the top.
$INJ first reached the top of the channel, and the top of the range, back on 24 December 2023. Since then, the price has been traversing sideways. With more than three months of this type of movement, if $INJ is able to break out to the upside, the resulting price action could be explosive.
If and when $INJ is able to make another all-time high, the next targets, per fibonacci levels, would be $63, $84, and $102.
$KAS has even longer consolidation period

$KAS is inside an even bigger range than $INJ, and it has been building since 19 November 2022. For $KAS, there are 4 distinct levels. The bottom of the range is at $0.09, and it could be said that the top of the range is at $0.15, although the price did deviate outside of this range from mid-February through to mid-March, extending up to $0.175.
It could also be said that $KAS is inside a rising channel, just like $INJ. There are only two touch points for the top of this as yet, but if price can reach the top of this channel it would then be confirmed.
For both $INJ and $KAS, breaking the top of rising channels would be extremely bullish, as well as breaking out the top of their respective ranges. Having already both arrived at this point from previous explosive upside moves, this period of sideways consolidation is probably getting them ready for the next ones.
