ElevenLabs, a prominent AI audio research and deployment firm, has announced a substantial expansion of its operations in the United Kingdom and the United States. This move highlights the company’s dedication to fostering regional innovation ecosystems and contributing to long-term economic growth, according to ElevenLabs.
Expansion and Workforce Growth
Over the past year, ElevenLabs has significantly increased its workforce, with UK staff numbers rising from 18 to 68 and US staff from 10 to 61. The company’s European presence also saw growth, expanding from 25 to 91 employees. With offices in major cities such as New York, San Francisco, Warsaw, Bangalore, Tokyo, and London, ElevenLabs is committed to building local talent hubs and infrastructure to provide real-time AI audio solutions for enterprises worldwide.
Strategic Partnerships and Technological Advancements
ElevenLabs has been actively collaborating with NVIDIA in the UK and on a global scale. This partnership has been instrumental in enhancing the company’s capabilities, allowing it to build faster and more robust products. By utilizing NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs and accelerated software, ElevenLabs is developing scalable and high-performance solutions, while also working alongside NVIDIA to create new technologies.

In August 2024, ElevenLabs launched a noteworthy initiative aimed at aiding individuals with aphasia by providing free licenses to ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) and MND (Motor Neuron Disease) patients. Since its inception, the company has collaborated with 268 non-profits, resulting in the creation of 3,472 voices. This month, ElevenLabs announced a $100 million Tender Offer, valuing the company at $6.6 billion, which is double its Series C valuation from just nine months prior. CEO and co-founder Mati Staniszewski stated, “We are building for the long term with the aim of creating a generational company. Continuous liquidity opportunities will help our whole team align on that goal.”
