Ambire Wallet, the new-generation DeFi focused smart wallet that was released in December 2021, is launching $WALLET, the governance token of its protocol, with a Huobi Primelist event that will take place on Saturday, January 29th, 10:00 (UTC).
Offering the simplest way to access the DeFi ecosystem, as well as multiple integrations with other dApps through WalletConnect, Ambire boasts a smooth user experience while being the first non-custodial wallet that is also open-source. Since its release less than two months ago, it has already gained more than 45,000 users holding over $22 Million value in crypto assets.
Planned for the 2022 Roadmap of Ambire Wallet, the listing for the $WALLET token is now officially scheduled for the 29th of January 2022 on Huobi, the leading crypto exchange that trades globally more than 400 types of crypto assets.
Before the official trading listing, there will be a dedicated Primelist event where registered users will be able to buy $WALLET tokens at the preferential price of 0.03 USDT. The available supply for the Huobi launch is 6 Million tokens (0.6% of total 1B $WALLET). Soon after the event closes, liquidity pools on decentralized exchanges will be opened and the token will be eligible for trading.

What is $WALLET?
The $WALLET token is already live on Ethereum. The team has planned to bridge it to Binance Smart Chain and Polygon too.
It was created for the community of Ambire Wallet, and in 6 months after the token launch it will also function as the governance token for the Ambire Wallet protocol, through the WalletDAO that will be created in Q3 of 2022.
Ambire will also be using the $WALLET token to reward wallet users. The company is already distributing tokens in an early user continuous airdrop. For the future, they have also planned gas rebates and referral bonuses paid out in $WALLET.
$WALLET tokenomics
The overall token supply for $WALLET is of 1 billion:
- 12.7% for early backers
- 10% for the Ambire team
- 10% for $ADX stakers, distributed over 18 months
- 30% for early Ambire Wallet users and stakers, distributed over 4 years
- Appr. 35% for the WalletDAO;
- Appr. 2% for initial liquidity and marketing activities: a total of 6M (0.6%) will be part of the initial public sale on Huobi
Other exchange listings
After the Huobi sale events ends, the $WALLET token will officially be listed on the exchange. The team also plans to supply liquidity for it on the SushiSwap DEX.
Users who have already accumulated $WALLET as rewards will be able to claim their tokens as early as next week.
