Originating from the creators of the Happy Valley Arcade Bar in Beacon, New York, the Valley Ecosystem is crafting a network where players can engage both at home and on physical arcade cabinets. This setup enables players to compete for tangible rewards on GalaChain by climbing the leaderboards of various arcade games.
Node operators play a crucial role in this ecosystem by facilitating score verification, token distribution, and leaderboard tracking. They, along with players and cabinet owners, can earn $VALLEY tokens as daily rewards. Recently, Valley initiated its first Node sale, with 175 Node licenses already distributed, and plans for cabinet sales are in the pipeline. The first 500 Node licenses come with an NFT, allowing owners to build their own Valley arcade cabinet.
Upcoming Developments and Rewards
Excitement builds as emissions to Node operators are set to commence on October 26th. Starting October 31st, gamers can participate in both global and daily leaderboards without needing a Node, cabinet, or subscription. These leaderboards will distribute rewards to top performers daily.
Currently, $VALLEY has not fully launched; therefore, emissions and rewards will be provided as “Tickets.” Players can collect these arcade tickets through gameplay, which will be exchangeable for $VALLEY prizes starting January 2025.
