Cleanify, a pioneering project built on the VeChain platform that aims to build a cleaner future by incentivizing the community to clean up the world, has announced its biggest update since its testnet launch.
The dApp is a flagship project of the VeBetterDAO platform that was launched earlier this year by VeChain in an effort to introduce new features for global action on sustainability and for empowering crypto communities.
In a recent X post, Cleanify unveiled its latest features and upgrades that promise to propel the platform to the next level. The platform Highlighted five of the key upgrades:
Social login and AA: This will allow everyone to use Cleanify. They can simply use their email of X account to create an account, participate in sustainability actions, and get rewarded. This is facilitated by Privy, which offers an easy way to onboard users to Web3, removing all the Web3 burdens.
PWA support: Following the upgrade, the team revealed that users can install Cleanify on devices. This makes it easier for participants to submit their actions and receive rewards.
Gasless transactions: The team has revealed that using Cleanify will no longer require gas fees. Combined with the aforementioned features, using Cleanify will be as easy as using web2 applications.
UI/UX revisit: To complement the recent developments, the team has undertaken a facelifting initiative and reviewed some flows and parts of the apps to make them as beautiful and mobile-friendly as possible. The team promises further improvements in the coming weeks as it strives to push the application to the next level.

Highlighted on the VeBetterDAO website, Cleanify is described as a cutting-edge dApp powered by VechainThor, revolutionizing the drive for a cleaner planet. The protocol allows the masses to participate in environmental preservation through organized group cleanups at beaches, streets, and parks. Data shows that the project has received a total of 1.6M B3TR allocations since its launch on the VeChain ecosystem.
The protocol has witnessed some key developments in recent weeks, including revealing at the end of July that it was increasing all the rewards by five times.
Developments around the VeChain ecosystem will play a key role in the adoption and price surges of the VET token. This is despite the token coming under intense pressure at the start of the week, dropping by more than 15%. At the time of writing, VET is trading for $0.022 after a 6% rebound in the past 24 hours.
