Highlights from Cronos (CRO) Accelerator Demo Day
As the third cohort of the Cronos accelerator concludes, the $100M-backed program has showcased some of the most promising early-stage crypto projects building on the Cronos platform. According to a post on the Cronos blog, these projects have been provided with networking, mentorship, and funding opportunities.
The third cohort saw a 57% increase in applications compared to its predecessor. Among the applicants, Cronos Labs shortlisted seven ambitious projects, five of which were presented at the recent demo day. These include LILLIUS, Innerworks, Securd, Reax, and Newwit.
Spotlight on the Startups
LILLIUS is a pioneering platform that merges sports training with the thrill of gaming through advanced AI motion detection. It offers personalized workouts and real-time feedback, making daily training not just rewarding but truly enjoyable.
Innerworks is revolutionizing digital authentication through its innovative use of AI and blockchain technologies. It offers a novel method for bot detection and seamless authentication, eliminating the need for CAPTCHAs and two-factor authentication.
Securd, the next-generation lending protocol, is designed to offer safe passive income to asset holders. It leverages collateralized positions in DeFi to minimize liquidation risks and align market risks with investor profiles.
Reax is pioneering the DeFi landscape with its cross-chain synthetics protocol. It enables access to over 500 real-world assets, including cryptocurrencies, forex, stocks, and commodities, facilitating a diverse range of DeFi derivatives.
Newwit is a groundbreaking Web3 application that gamifies the prediction process, allowing users to forecast outcomes in diverse fields such as crypto, sports, and more. It rewards users for their insights, which also help train its sophisticated AI prediction models.
