As per the documentation of the Shibarium blockchain network, it comprises the Shibarium Proof-of-Stake (PoS) chain as well as the Ethereum + Shibarium bridge. The Shibarium PoS will use the sidechains of the Ethereum network to process transactions thereby resulting in faster transaction speed and cost-effectiveness.
Furthermore, the Shibarium PoS would ensure security for users by using the Plasma Bridge technology as well as the decentralized network of PoS validators. Similarly, the Shibarium bridge will also use the Plasma and PoS security to facilitate bi-directional transactions between Shibarium and Ethereum. Without any third-party risks, the bridge will facilitate the transfer of tokens between the two networks. On the other hand, the SHIB Army has started questioning the Shiba Inu team after a long wait for the Shibarium launch. Last Friday, messages started appearing on the Telegram channel asking Shibarium lead developer Shytoshi Kusama “wen Shibarium?” The message was in reference to Kusama’s previous promise that the Shibarium launch shall happen before May.
However, there’s no clarity on when the actual launch will happen. But the strong response to Shibarium testnet PuppyNet brims up optimism that the Shibarium launch would happen shortly. Several projects have also shown the readiness to launch exclusively on the Shibarium protocol.
