New wallets interacting with social media dApps on the network have recorded a similar growth rate. Polygon observed that a total of 1.91 million new wallets have been interacting with social media decentralized applications on the Polygon proof of stake network.
For the first time, the numbers have succeeded in surpassing the open-source and decentralized prediction market platform Gnosis. The layer two protocol and smart contract platform Optimism, and the Ethereum blockchain itself are all behind Polygon’s numbers as well.
In the area of social distribution, Polygon POS has reached uncharted territories, and left its competitors behind.
Polygon observed this fact in another thread that reads “Polygon POS social distribution has recorded the fastest growth levels against other competitors.
Polygon PoS’ social distribution saw the fastest growth compared to Gnosis, Optimism & Ethereum.”
In the last 69 weeks, social users flocked to Polygon POS aggressively. The adoption resulted in 800,000 new social users making their entry to the POS network.
Against its competitors, Polygon POS is the fastest to record this milestone in the shortest time. On the other hand, Gnosis and Ethereum both took 79 weeks and 190 weeks respectively, to acquire the same number of users. Optimism is still far behind, with only 148,000 social users in the last 40 weeks.
