Cardano has seen impressive network activities with its Decentralized Application (DApps) recording an increase in unique account growth in the past five days. According to reports, Indigo Protocol topped the list of projects with the highest increase in unique account growth, recording 62,109 percent. This was disclosed by an unofficial community-driven Twitter handle called Cardano Daily.
The top gainer in the percentage of the growth of the unique account is @Indigo_protocol – a project which has been going mainnet in the last week. Congratulations on having such an amazing beginning.
The most performing projects on the Cardano network
Indigo Protocol’s unique account is currently 835, a surge that was triggered after its launch on the mainnet. Defi protocol Aada Finance is the second most performing on the list with a five-day surge of 278 percent. Its unique account is currently at 1.8k. The third on the list is the Community-driven project ADAO. It surged by 97 percent in the past five days to record a total unique account of 134. NFT marketplace Flipr took the fourth position with a 96 percent surge. Its total unique account is currently sitting at 898. SmartClaimz, a reward and distribution platform surged by 82 percent in the last five days to seal the fifth position with a total unique account of 199.
With a total unique account of 53k, Defi protocol, Minswap surged by 79 percent to seal the 6th position. WingRiders, which has 12.7k unique accounts, increased by 62 percent to place 7th on the list. MuesliSwap was ranked 8th after surging by 56 percent to record unique accounts of 40.3K accounts. NFT Marketplaces Artifct and Epoch Art placed 9th and 10th respectively after recording a growth of 42 percent and 27 percent respectively. Artifct has a total unique account of 744 while Epoch Art has 5.5K. According to the report, the Defi sector makes up half of the list of assets with unique account growth.
Cardano’s daily active addresses increasing
Last week, Cardano co-founder Charles Hoskinson disclosed a 90 percent increase in daily active addresses on the network. Also, there has been a 300 percent surge this year in the number of smart contracts based on Plutus. The interesting statistics on the unique account have been said to indicate a growing adoption of the Cardano ecosystem. The potential of the network and its adoption rate played a role in the decision of stablecoin DJED to launch on the mainnet in January 2023. USDA, from EMURGO, would be another stablecoin to be welcomed to the Cardano network early next year.
It is also important to note that iUSD, the first USD-backed stablecoin was launched by Indigo Protocol on Monday.
