HKMC Annuity Limited launches ‘Panda Mode ON!’ campaign, emphasizing retirement financial planning through engaging public education initiatives across Hong Kong.
HKMC Annuity Limited (HKMCA), a subsidiary of The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited, has announced the launch of a new public education campaign titled ‘Panda Mode ON!’ This initiative aims to promote retirement financial planning by drawing parallels between the carefree lifestyle of pandas and the need for a stable retirement income, according to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
Comprehensive Outreach Activities
The ‘Panda Mode ON!’ campaign will run for six months and feature a variety of promotional activities. These include television commercials, outdoor and online advertising, as well as social media campaigns. The initiative will also extend to public education and outreach efforts throughout Hong Kong. Key events in the campaign include a booth at the ’10th Golden Age Expo and Summit 2025′ and several ‘Well-Planned for Life. Stable for Life’ exhibitions at Ocean Park and major shopping malls.

In addition to physical events, the HKMCA is enhancing its ‘Mr. Well-Planned’ series to deepen public understanding of the HKMC Annuity Plan and longevity risk management. This series uses everyday scenarios to explain the plan’s features, supplemented by a new ‘Answer with One Click’ webpage designed to address frequently asked questions easily.
