CoreWeave, a prominent player in the AI and cloud infrastructure sector, has announced the appointment of Sandy Venugopal as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO). With a strong background in technology leadership and digital innovation, Venugopal is set to lead CoreWeave’s IT and digital transformation strategies, a move that aims to support the company’s rapid growth and scaling needs, according to PRNewswire.
Experienced Leadership
Venugopal brings over two decades of experience in driving digital transformation and operational excellence. Prior to joining CoreWeave, she served as CIO at SentinelOne, Inc., where she was instrumental in developing IT and data strategies that facilitated the company’s expansion. Her tenure at SentinelOne was marked by the creation of a data infrastructure and insights platform that enhanced data-driven decision-making.
Her previous roles also include serving as CIO at Uber Technologies, Inc., where she managed the scaling of teams and operations during a period of significant growth. Additionally, Venugopal has held leadership positions at LinkedIn Corporation and is currently a board member at The Adecco Group, a global leader in workforce solutions.
